The Ontario government has announced significant changes to the retail cannabis market. Those changes include the elimination of the previous lottery based system for retail store operator licences, and a loosening of restrictions on the ownership and operation of retail stores. Now, as of mid-October, Uber Eats can deliver it in Toronto as the result of a partnership with Leafly, an online marketplace for licensed cannabis retailers.
